Filming - Day 6 - 8th December - by Josh

On the 8th of December we went up to London for the second time primarily to film the cinema shots which would be appearing at the start of our video. This took a long time to complete as the equipment was difficult to set up and we had to make adjustments for our CCTV footage. The filming also took a while to do since there were a lot of shots we wanted to do and at times the studio was very awkward to film in due to limited space for the camera and tripod. We spent a few hours doing this, and since we had a few hours of daylight remaining we decided to shoot some shots at the stunt location I had proposed. I looked this up the day before on ParkourGenerations.com which provided me with parkour locations and I decided on one on Whitechurch Road near White City (image below - taken from Google Maps Streetview to gain a good insight into if the location would be suitable).
I decided on this location since I noticed that the two joining walls behind the tree would be perfect for a wall jump which one of us could use to gain an advantage in the chase. The wall on the left could also be used by one of us to 'wall run' up it. We filmed several shots of this area. When we got there Dan, Phil and myself attempted the stunts. Phil was able to do both after a few tries but unfortunately Dan was not able to. This was not too much of a problem as Dan could run on the upper level above the bins and Phil and I could make use of the stunts to catch up to him and reach his level. Our teacher suggested this during a discussion about what we could add to our video to make it more exciting and interesting (one of the aims of music videos being to be ensue repeated viewings of the video.

One of the first shots we did in the cinema was the one below:
An over the shoulder shot of both masked men that will be our opening show for the full video. We chose to use this as it provides the audience with a shot that opens the video with the two masked men looking at the security camera footage. The following shots are that of the two masked men watching the CCTV footage.

We are planning to use these shows to break up and gauge the reaction from the the CCTV footage and normal footage of the thief stealing the disc. The two shots below are of the masked men leaving the cinema to chase the thief.

These all took a while to film since it was difficult to get the lighting in the room suitable for the camera. We also had to decide on shots used since we hadn't been in the room before and so had to plan it out when we got there.

The shots below are of the freerunning scene with Dan running along the upper walkway and myself with Phil running up the walls:

It should be noted with this scene that we have flipped the shots horizontally so that it looks throughout the video that the 3 characters are always running from left to right, with a few exceptions. We decided to flip this since the shots leading up to this scene have the characters running from left to right.
