Magazine Advert Research - by Josh


 For our magazine advert research, I deemed it appropriate to start with the artist for our video. This being one of Madeon's first tours, a good poster was needed to intrigue audiences and advertise himself as brand recognition. The use of his unique font as well as the relation to his single: 'The City' cover (image below) helps ultimately broad recognition as an artist; when people see one item they are likely to relate that to the other.










 More evidence of this can be seen when I went to see Madeon live; there were T-Shirts on sale with his name and font on them, as well as the 'M' seen in the poster above and the picture below.
 These all have the same colour palette, style and font.
